Rick Leger uploaded a file about vintage motorcycle stamps: MOTORCYCLES DESIGNED AND/OR MANUFACTURED IN CANADA
If anyone is a collector or would simply like to have for a keepsake, Canada Post will be releasing a series of stamps and collectibles dedicated to the design and/or manufacture of motorcycles in Canada. The first in the series being the 1908 CCM (Canadian Cycle and Motor Company) and the 1914 Indian (Hendee Manufacturing Co.). Although the official issue date for the CCM & Indian stamps and collectibles is June 5, 2013, you can pre-order now from the Canada Post Website. Watch for future releases highlighting more bikes… This great Article will be include in the upcoming spring issue (April-June 2013) of Canada Post’s "Details" Magazine. Among other things, the article mentions the famous Canadian motorcycle racer "Wild Joe" Baribeau who won many Canadian Provincial and National Championships on the famed Indian motorcycle. I’ve included hyperlinks to the stamps and various collectibles available for purchase including a very beautiful (and reasonably priced) 35” x 21” limited edition framed print of the 1914 Indian “Hendee Special”.
You can also visit the Canada Post Website for more detail. Hope these hyperlinks work for you…
